Sometimes a place remembers more than it lets on
Before there was a hotel, a spa and gardens, there was a school here.
Children's voices carried across its yard, and between lessons the little ones ran among the apple and quince trees. Children of different years studied in the same room, sharing what they knew, their laughter, and those small moments that turn out years later to be among the ones worth keeping.
The school closed its doors long ago. But the place has not forgotten.
Decades later the old building and its yard were given another life. A childhood dream that began right here slowly became real — a place with people in it again, with meetings and conversation, families and friends. A place where the old schoolyard would be full of life once more.
2015Bozhe Ime Spa & Park opens its doors
The old school is part of the complex's history now, and around it a place has unfolded in which nature holds the centre. Gardens, trees, stone and wood, room to rest and room to breathe give the feeling that all of it grew out of the ground it stands on.
The main building with the spa, the rooms in the park zone, the restaurant and the outdoor pool are held together by more than a plot of land — by one idea: to make a place where a person can slow their step.
Rest, to us, is not only a comfortable room or a few days away from home. It is the long breakfast, the conversation at the table, the time with the children, the quiet in the garden, the warm water, the good food and the sense that there is nowhere you have to hurry.
And so Bozhe Ime goes on changing and growing, without forgetting where it began.
